Recognizing that love and attention can be powerful medicine, we encourage family and friends, including children, to visit their loved ones. While we do not have posted visiting hours, we recommend visitation between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. This provides our residents with the time they need to prepare for their day and obtain the rest they need to participate in their treatment and daily activities. Special accommodations can be arranged given special circumstance.

The Hillcrest of North Dallas is focused on rehabilitation opportunities. We offer a wide range of rehabilitation services that are tailored to each resident's needs. The Rehabilitation Department offers services from certified and licensed professionals in physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech pathology. These therapists create individualized therapy plans to promote wellness and recovery. The department's goal is to facilitate independence for a successful return to the resident's prior level of functioning.
We offer services required to help those in either short-term or long-term complex rehabilitation. Our qualified, licensed therapists provide comprehensive rehabilitative treatment in three primary disciplines which include physical, occupational, and speech therapy.

The Hillcrest of North Dallas is devoted to discovering each individual's full functional capabilities as well as aiding and achieving each resident's highest practical level of independence. Individualized therapy and treatment is provided by skilled clinicians in our motivational therapy gym. Our facility is designed with the very latest therapy assessment, monitoring, and treatment modalities. Our rehabilitation strategy is tailored to the individual. We do this by simulating an environment that resembles the home environment as much as possible.

Long-Term Care is for those who could benefit from 24-hour nursing, meal assistance, medication management, or other activities of daily living.
Our facility is designed to provide our residents with a comfortable living environment and allows them to be a part of our community while we manage their health and wellness.
At The Hillcrest at North Dallas, 24-hour skilled nursing care is provided by a team of nurses and nursing assistants. Our nursing staff includes Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants. Our wound care nurses and restorative aides can help residents meet their highest level of functioning. Our case management team shares the same passion to help residents return to their community and/or achieve their highest level of functioning.
The resident's interdisciplinary team supports and designs care plans that seek to heal our resident's wounds under the direction and guidance of an independent physician. Our licensed wound care nurses work seven days a week for residents requiring treatment for complex wounds, including but not limited to post-operative wound sites, diabetic, and decubitus wounds.
The Hillcrest of North Dallas has partnered with local hospital systems to ensure continuity of care. These independent physicians also utilize nurse practitioners so when they are not here, they have licensed and certified advanced practice nurses at the facility to ensure that trained eyes are available and ready to assist in making informed healthcare decisions.
